The Challenge

Burn Functional Fitness was established in 2016 with the intention to improve the health and fitness of the Derwent Valley Community. Being a newly established Gym, Burn was ready to offer their full fitness experience and facilities to the community. The issue was, Burn didn’t stand out against their competitors or communicate clearly to consumers how they weren’t just your average Gym.

Burn put their trust in the Wild Giant Team to re-brand them and establish a fun social media campaign that raises awareness of Burns presence in the Derwent Valley community as well as actively encourage that community to become involved with the “Burn Crew”.

The Thinking

After the initial photoshoot and meeting with the gym members and trainers we knew we had to focus the creative content and branding around Burns unique approach to their training and the real, personal investment they have towards their members health and lifestyle improvement.

With that in mind we set out to design a bold, exciting brand and develop a website and social media campaign that clearly communicated Burn isn’t just your average gym.

Following the re-brand we went on to create a full brand marketing campaign centred around an upcoming challenge event that would be run over the course of 8 weeks.

The Result

The campaign was a huge success and was well received by the Derwent Valley community and beyond delivering over 50+ signups for the 8 Week Challenge event within 2 weeks of launching with minimal investment in social media advertising.

We’re really proud to say that the campaign was so successful that we actually managed to fill every available slot that Burn had available for the 8 Week Challenge event.
